Matthew is a first in many areas. He is my first home-bred American Kennel Club (AKC) champion. He is the first shar-pei in Tennessee to finish his AKC championship. And, he is my first Group One winner.
Matthew finished at just seven months and seven days of age. He is a compact dog, standing 18 inches tall at the withers and measuring 18 inches from the withers to the rump, and produces the same in his puppies, who are competitive in the AKC ring with five finished and several more pointed.
Matthew produces moderate puppies that need little or no eye-tacking, solid pigment, beautiful heads, and loving dispositions. His puppies tend to be quite cobbly with good fronts and nice rear ends. He produces brushcoats (so far) in red, black, and red fawn.
Matthew's stud fee is $600.00 plus shipping and any necessary veterinary care, but special consideration will be shown to those breeders who plan ahead with AKC finished bitches. Fresh extended semen is also available at the breeder's expense.
